Incoterms® rules, published by the International Chamber of Commerce, define where cost and risk pass from seller to buyer. Choosing the right term is as important as the product price.
EXW — Ex Works
Under EXW, goods are made available at the seller’s premises. The buyer arranges collection, export clearance and onward transport. It suits buyers with their own freight forwarder in Europe.
FCA, CPT and DAP
Other terms move more responsibility to the seller — for example handing goods to the buyer’s carrier (FCA) or delivering to a named destination (DAP). Each changes who pays for transport and who bears risk in transit.
Our approach
The delivery basis is discussed with you and confirmed in every quotation, together with the required trade documentation.
